8.3.14 DateDifference
The DateDifference modifier outputs the difference in days between two dates to a data field, defined in Destination Field. The dates between which the difference is calculated may be read from the fields defined in the data for the service by selecting the Use Field checkbox, and selecting the desired field from the drop-down list. The dates may also be entered manually in the format YYYY:MM:DD, or selected from the calender by selecting the
button. The default value for the dates is the current date.
The Resulting expression field displays the operation defined in the modifier, which also appears in the Selection Tree tab on the left.
Figure 187 gives an example of the DateDifference modifier. In this example, the value output to the destination field Integer_Field_OUT is -2, the difference between the given dates.
